I have included teams normally from other districts other than the MWDJRLFC, hence the presence of St Peters, Ryde-Dundas, Gladesville, Epping, Macquarie University.

Complied from various sources, including the Annual Report and Financial Statemen for seasons 1927, 1928, 1946, 1957, 1963, 1964, 1967 and 1971 and old results pages of the SMH.

Added a few teams to the list, including ASOPA, the former Australian School of Pacific Administration (ASOPA) that was at Middle Head, now a National Trust/National Park area.

The 1971 Annual Report lists them as " Ausopa " though.

Kodiaks,

Any idea why they went with a new identity and colours, when they were still playing out of/were in effect "Lane Cove" and the 'Tigers id' would have done?

the tigers had already fallen over by then .. Northern districts were only around for a few years in the noughties.mainly young age groups but they did have a 16s if I remember..
I see you didn't have Brooklyn down as a junior club.. I saw it in a very early paper when I was doing research on the 21 team this week..

I'll add Brooklyn cheers, still a shame that a Lane Cove based team didn't continue with the local name and colours.
